An IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Delhi received a bomb threat on Tuesday morning. Flight 6E 762 had 200 passengers on board, and security agencies found the threat to be non-specific, authorities said. A source added that a full emergency was declared for the flight at Delhi airport.
Operated with an Airbus A321neo aircraft, the flight landed around 7:53 a.m., according to information from the flight-tracking website Flightradar24.com. Acting swiftly, the authorities carried out necessary security checks before the aircraft was cleared for operations.

“A security threat was noticed onboard IndiGo flight 6E 762 operating from Mumbai to Delhi on 30 September 2025. Following the established protocol, we informed the relevant authorities immediately and fully cooperated with them in carrying out the necessary security checks before the aircraft was cleared for operations," an IndiGo Spokesperson told ANI.
Earlier on Sunday, Delhi airport, along with several schools and institutions across the capital, received bomb threat emails. A Delhi Fire Services official confirmed that CRPF Public School in Dwarka and a Sarvodaya Vidyalaya near Qutub Minar were targeted. After thorough security checks, the threats were declared a hoax, providing relief to students, parents, and staff.

On June 13, an Air India flight from Thailand to New Delhi (AI 379) had to make an emergency landing in Phuket following a bomb threat. According to Airports of Thailand officials, passengers were safely evacuated as per emergency protocols. The flight had departed Phuket at 9:30 a.m. (0230 GMT) and was bound for New Delhi but made a wide loop over the Andaman Sea before returning to Phuket, flight-tracking website Flightradar24 reported.
