Due to system outrage since 12.30 pm on Saturday, longer queues and increased wait times could be seen at the IndiGo counters at the airports. IndiGo informed the passengers that the technical glitch has affected flight movements and services across airports.
In a social media post on X, IndiGo informed that it is experiencing a "temporary system slowdown" affecting their website and booking system. IndiGo wrote, “We are currently experiencing a temporary system slowdown across our network, affecting our website and booking system. As a result, customers may face increased wait times, including slower check-ins and longer queues at the airport.”
Further, the airlines assured the passengers of assistance. “Our airport team is available and fully dedicated to assisting everyone and ensuring a smooth journey. Be assured, we are working diligently to restore stability and normalcy as quickly as possible. We regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and patience during this time,” it wrote.
However, the passengers have expressed their disappointment over the delay and the mismanagement at the airports. One of the passengers wrote, "@IndiGo6E, it’s good to invest in new aircraft, but how about improving the ground services? This is the scene at indigo counters at Bangalore T1 for the last hour. Additional counters are required; disturbing to see old people suffering @DGCAIndia, please notice.”

Replying to the post, IndiGo replied, “We regret your recent experience with the user interface. We request you to DM us your PNR along with a snapshot of the error to check and assist.”
Another case has come to light when an IndiGo flight from Pune to Bengaluru was delayed by 5 hours after the pilot refused to fly the plane, citing completion of duty hours. Though the incident took place a few days ago, it came into the limelight after the video of the alleged incident went viral on social media, in which passengers could be seen protesting.
