The Indore-Bhopal Vande Bharat train, which is currently operational, will be extended to reach Nagpur via Itarsi. This expansion fulfils a long-standing demand from Nagpur residents for a direct connection to Bhopal through the Vande Bharat Express. According to the Railway Board's announcement, Train No 20911 will be rebranded as the Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express. This train will include stops at Ujjain, Bhopal and Itarsi on its journey to Nagpur.

The Vande Bharat Express, India's first semi-high-speed train, is renowned for its opulent amenities and a comfortable travelling experience. It boasts a top speed of 160 km/h, which allows it to cover the distance between Nagpur and Bhopal in just 8 hours and 20 minutes.

Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express Route Details

The Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express (Train No 20911) will initiate its journey from Indore at 6:10 AM and will arrive at Ujjain at 7:00 AM, Bhopal at 9:15 AM, and Nagpur at 2:30 PM. For its return voyage, Train No 20912 will commence from Nagpur at 3:20 PM, making stops at Itarsi at 7:00 PM, Bhopal at 8:40 PM, Ujjain at 10:50 PM, and finally arriving at Indore at 11:45 PM. Ultimately, the Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express will return to Nagpur station at 2:30 PM.

Likewise, the Nagpur-Indore Vande Bharat Express (Train No 20912) will depart from Nagpur station at 3:20 PM, stopping at Itarsi at 7:00 PM, Bhopal at 8:40 PM, Ujjain at 10:50 PM, and finally reaching Indore station at 11:45 PM.
