Indore Airport on Sunday announced that another flight to Hyderabad will be added to its schedule this month. The airport authority stated that the services of Air India Express will start from January 15, providing the flight passengers an additional option to travel to Hyderabad.

Providing details, the airport authority clarified that the flight IX 2887 will take off from Hyderabad at 4.40 PM and will arrive in Indore at 6.25 PM. It further informed that the return flight from Indore will depart at 6.55 PM and will land in Hyderabad at 8.25 PM. The authority stated that an additional flight was added to meet the increasing demands from the flight passengers.

It further stated that Air India Express currently has three domestic and a single international flight from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport. The airport authority stated that the addition of a new flight will definitely improve the connectivity between Indore and Hyderabad. It also clarified that the planning for the addition of flight services was under consideration for a while.

The statement clarified that the airline had announced the addition of flight services from Indore to Hyderabad in December and also started booking tickets at that time. Travel agents stated that the additional flight will provide convenience to the passengers travelling to the capital city of Telangana, adding that it will also benefit the passengers taking connecting international flights from Hyderabad.

The airport authority announced that IndiGo at present operates three daily flights from Indore to Hyderabad. Providing details, the authority stated that the flight services are scheduled at 12.40 PM, 6.25 PM, and 7.30 PM.

It pointed out that with Air India Express also joining the route, a total of four flights will operate between the two cities, providing passengers with more flexibility and convenience. However, the airport authority also directed the passengers to stay updated with the operation timings.
