Jagran correspondent, Bhagalpur: Railway passengers travelling through Delhi, Bihar and West Bengal have been advised to check their IRCTC train status in advance, as several express and mail trains will be cancelled or affected due to ongoing non-interlocking technical work in the Danapur Railway Division of the East Central Railway.
The railway work is expected to disrupt train operations on several routes between September 20 and October 4. The cancellations are likely to cause inconvenience to passengers, particularly those travelling during the festive season.
According to the railway administration, the work is being carried out as part of track maintenance and signalling system modernisation. As a result, several trains originating from or passing through Bhagalpur and other stations on the affected routes will either remain cancelled or operate on revised schedules.
Passengers are advised to check the latest train schedule before starting their journey. They can verify the status of their train through the railway helpline 139 or the NTES app.
Trains Cancelled Between September 20 and October 4
The following trains will remain cancelled or suspended on specific dates:
- Udhna-Malda Town Express (13426): Cancelled on September 24 and October 1.
- Malda Town-Udhna Express (13425): Will not operate on September 27 and October 4.
- Bhagalpur-Ajmer Express (13423): Cancelled on September 24 and October 1.
- Ajmer-Bhagalpur Express (13424): Cancelled on September 26 and October 3.
- Bhagalpur-Muzaffarpur Janseva Express (13419): Will remain suspended from September 25 to October 4.

Malda Town-Patna and Delhi Routes Affected
Train services connecting Malda Town, Patna, Anand Vihar and New Delhi will also be affected by the railway work.
- Malda Town-Patna Express (13415): Cancelled on September 20, 23, 25, 27 and 30 and October 2.
- Patna-Malda Town Express (13416): Will not operate on September 21, 24, 26 and 28, and October 1 and 3.
- Malda Town-Anand Vihar Express: Cancelled on September 25 and October 2.
- Anand Vihar-Malda Town Express: Cancelled on September 26 and October 3.
- Malda Town-New Delhi Express: Will not operate on September 22, 26, 29 and October 3.
- New Delhi-Malda Town Express: Cancelled on September 20, 24 and 27, and October 1.
