Rajouri's Mysterious Deaths: The reason behind the mysterious disease in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir is not known yet even after a rigorous effort by the authorities and the doctors. A doctor's team from Delhi AIIMS again reached Rajouri on Saturday to investigate the cases. All four doctors visited the hospital where all the patients are admitted and collected data by asking them relevant questions about the disease.
Doctor's Team To Visit Badhal Today
The AIIMS doctor's team will also make a visit to the most affected village, Badhal, on Sunday to collect more information regarding the disease. The doctors tried to find a pattern by asking several questions of the patients regarding the disease. One of the most common questions of the doctors was, What did you eat before getting ill?
A total of 11 patients from Badhal village are admitted to the hospital and are undergoing treatment. The team also visited special camps set up for the people in Badal village. The doctors team asked about the geography and facilities of the village from the people residing in the camp. The team is set to visit the village on Sunday to get a clearer picture of the disease.
A mysterious disease in the region has caused a widespread panic in the health department of the state since December 2024. Rajouri's Badhal village is the most affected region of the disease, with 17 reported fatalities and 38 affected individuals in the past two months. The disease has affected the kids most, as 13 out of the 17 dead people of the village are kids.
All the previous attempts at decoding the disease have been unsuccessful, even though several health experts from all over the country tried to solve the puzzle by observing the samples and the patterns. A medical team from Chandigarh has also arrived in Rajouri to collect samples and observe the disease patterns.
