Vote Chori Row: Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSR Congress Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister, on Wednesday claimed that Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu, a key ally in NDA at Centre, is in touch with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi through Telangana CM Revanth Reddy on a hotline.
While addressing a press conference in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, the YSRCP chief said Naidu is in touch with Gandhi through CM Reddy on a hotline.

Why Is Rahul Gandhi Not Speaking About Andhra On 'Vote Chori'?
When Gandhi talks about vote-chori, why does he not make a statement on Andhra, where the highest 12.5 per cent is the vote difference between what was announced versus on the counting day when the votes were counted, the former chief minister asked.
He further questioned why he does not speak about Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal, who lost his MLA election.
"Gandhi does not talk about Andhra because Chandrababu Naidu is in touch with Rahul Gandhi through Revanth Reddy on a hotline. What should I comment on someone like Rahul Gandhi, who himself is not sincere about what he does," he questioned.
Why Is Jagan's Claim So Important?
Jagan's claim is politically very significant as Naidu is a key ally in the NDA government at the Centre. It is Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal United and Naidu's Telugu Desam Party's support that enabled the return of the NDA government, and Narendra Modi returned as the Prime Minister for a record third time. In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the BJP managed to win 240 seats, while TDP 16 seats and JD-U 12 seats.
'Abhi Picture Baki Hai': Rahul Doubles Down On His 'Vote Chori' Allegations
Meanwhile, Gandhi on Tuesday accused the Election Commission of not performing its duty of enforcing the 'one man, one vote' principle and said "abhi picture baki hai", alluding to the claims of irregularities in the voters' list. At a meeting of Congress general secretaries, in-charges and heads of frontal organisations at the AICC's 24, Akbar Road office, party sources quoted Gandhi as saying that the Congress lost at least 48 Lok Sabha seats due to "Mahadevpura-like vote chori".
