Jagran Correspondent, Dehradun | The wait is over. Jagran Samvadi has arrived among the people of Doon, Uttarakhand, bringing with it pioneers from various sectors. So, we humbly request you to come with your family and friends and be a part of this celebration of expression. The festival, which will last for two days (June 13 and 14), is set to start on Saturday. It will have seven sessions, including the inaugural session on the first day, and six sessions on Sunday.
No Entry Fees For Jagran Samvadi
During this event, renowned experts from various parts of the country will delve deeply into topics such as literature, art, culture, cinema, religion, economics, politics, and more. You will also be able to interact with them. And yes! Entry to all sessions of Samvadi is completely free.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate Samvadi on Saturday at 12 noon. Joining him on stage will be Swami Mithila Nandini Sharan, Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University Vice Chancellor Prof. Shriprakash Singh.

This is the third edition of Samvadi in the capital, Dehradun, and there's tremendous enthusiasm among the Samvadi followers of Dehradun. The entire concept of Samvadi is deeply connected to the ground reality, which is why every Samvadi follower is eager to be a part of it. Organised under the "Hindi Hain Hum" campaign, this festival has also fostered a sense of belonging among people that even in this rapidly changing world, Hindi remains a powerful language, adapting seamlessly and adapting to technology.
This response has been a lifeline for us, and that's why Samvadi continues to climb the ladder of popularity. This time, Samvadi is being held at Hotel Fairfield by Marriott on Mussoorie Diversion Road. So, get ready to enjoy the vibrant colours of Samvadi.
'Hindi Hain Hum' Campaign
Dainik Jagran's 'Hindi Hain Hum' campaign is an effort to create a conducive environment for the use of Hindi through language and art. Its primary objective is to establish Hindi in the heart, in thoughts, and in expression through various platforms, including 'Jagran Samvadi.' It also aims to connect youth with their mother tongue.

RIMT Students Introduced To Samvadi
Dainik Jagran provided information about the Samvadi program to students and faculty at the RIMT Institute in Badripur Jogiwala. During this, the institute's director, Mitesh Semwal, explained that Jagran Samvadi is a medium that allows us to better understand society.

Storyteller Jitendra Thakur
Born in Dehradun on October 5, 1955, storyteller and novelist Jitendra Thakur began his literary career with poetry, but later story writing became his primary genre. His works have been translated into many languages, including German, English, Urdu, Bengali, Marathi, and Punjabi, and have been adapted into plays, radio plays, telefilms, and films. On March 30th, he was awarded the Uttarakhand Sahitya Bhushan Award by the Uttarakhand Bhasha Sansthan.
Folk Singer Reshma Shah
Originally a resident of Nainbag in Tehri district, folk singer Reshma Shah began singing in 1998 and recorded her first song, "Chaane." Due to family responsibilities, she had to take a long break from the music world, but her dedication to music and folk songs remained unwavering. Returning in 2009, she gave a spectacular performance in Dehradun on State Foundation Day. In 2020, she received the prestigious Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar from the Sangeet Natak Akademi.
Film Producer And Actress Dr Aarushi Nishank
Dr Aarushi Nishank, daughter of former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, is an actress, producer, social activist, and environmentalist. She has worked on several films, including "Life is Hilly" with Disney Hotstar. As a global speaker, she represented India at the United Nations. Featured in Forbes magazine for her work on women's empowerment, Aarushi is known as "India's River Lady" for her dedication to river conservation.
Folk Culture Pioneer Dr Nandkishore Hatwal
Senior literary figure and theatre personality Dr Nandkishore Hatwal, who writes extensively on folk culture, education, and social issues, has been actively involved in literary creation for the past 40 years. He has written numerous popular books, plays, songs, and film scripts in Hindi and Garhwali. More than 1,000 of his drawings and articles on Uttarakhand's folk culture have appeared in various journals. He currently contributes to the preservation of literature and culture.
