Dainik Jagran and Vishvas News, in collaboration with Google, will organise a webinar for the people of Bareilly on December 5 (Friday) under its prestigious 'Digikavach' program. This event is being conducted as part of the 'Digital Security for Senior Citizens: Sach Ke Sathi' campaign. This program is being specially organised for senior citizens, in which they will be given training on digital safety.
With the increasing use of mobile phones, cybercrime is also on the rise. Cybercriminals are mostly targeting senior citizens. This campaign is being run with the aim of making them aware. In the program, experts from Vishvas News will inform people about the types of online scams and also the ways to avoid them. SWE's NGO is cooperating in this.
About the Program
Under the 'Digital Security for Senior Citizens: Sach Ke Saathi' campaign, teams from Jagran Digital and Vishvas News are providing training across the country through seminars and webinars. Under this, training is being given in 30 cities across 20 states of the country.
Apart from Uttar Pradesh, programs of this kind are being organised in 20 states like Gujarat, Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Punjab, and Uttarakhand.
In this, people are being trained to identify and avoid online scams. Google's 'Digikavach' campaign is increasing awareness among people against online fraud in India. The objective of this campaign is to make people aware of fraud and scams.
