SECURITY forces have conducted a flag march in Jamshedpur's Kadma police station on Monday morning following an incident of stone pelting and arson in Jharkhand. The internet has also been suspended in the area.
Stone pelting broke out between two groups in Shastrinagar, Jamshedpur on Sunday evening, resulting in the arson of two shops and an auto-rickshaw. While six people were injured in a stone-throwing incident.
A mob also set on fire an autorickshaw, forcing the police to fire tear gas shells. Following the unrest in Jamshedpur, several such organisations protested and demanded that the police arrest the culprits within 24 hours.

"Forces are conducting early morning flag march. Section 144 is enforced in the area. Internet services are barred till the next order," said Executive Magistrate, Jyoti Kumari.
According to the officials, a heavy deployment of forces including a Rapid Action Force (RAF) company was made in the entire area.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jamshedpur Prabhat Kumar said the situation was under control as the force has been deployed in the entire area.
"We are assessing the situation. Communication with peace committee and other stakeholders is being established to bring normalcy," Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum Vijaya Jadhav, as quoted by ANI, said. He also urged people not to believe rumours.
People are also requested to report to the Police in case they receive any provocative or unpleasant messages.
Post-Ram Navami, several parts of the country have been witnessing communal violence in the last few days. Several clashes were reported from Nalanda and Sasaram in Bihar while in West Bengal, Hooghly and Howrah witnessed the unrest.
Bihar Police on Sunday said that it has unravelled the conspiracy that was hatched to orchestrate communal violence during Ram Navami.
