Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to unveil the 25-point Sankalp Patra of the Bharatiya Janata Party for Jharkhand state assembly polls in Ranchi on Sunday. The much-anticipated manifesto of the party might see several key promises, including giving 300 units of free electricity to domestic consumers and re-implementation of the property registration scheme worth up to Rs 50 lakh in the name of women for just one rupee.
The one rupee property registration in a woman's name was earlier introduced in 2019 by the Raghuvar Das government, however, it was discontinued by Hemant Soren's regime. Apart from electricity and property registration, the party is also looking to strike a chord with the issue of decreasing tribal population in the Santhal Parganas, owing to increasing immigration of Bangladeshi infiltration.
To mitigate this, the party can announce the implementation of the Mini NRC (National Citizen Register) in the Santhal Pargana region, reported Dainik Jagran on Sunday.

In November, as Jharkhand marks its 25th anniversary, the state is also gearing up for assembly elections. To coincide with these milestones, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to release a 25-point manifesto, or Sankalp Patra, outlining its vision for Jharkhand's development. This follows the BJP's earlier pledge of five commitments, which include initiatives like the "Gogo Didi" scheme, providing women with a monthly allowance of Rs 2,100, and promises to address youth employment and introduce incentive allowances.
The manifesto, crafted under the leadership of former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, was developed after consultations with various stakeholders, including business leaders, intellectuals, and professionals from across the state. Among the BJP's promises are free distribution of two LPG cylinders and a subsidy on 10 additional cylinders, available for Rs 500 each.
