Karnataka Caste Survey: The Karnataka State Commission for Backwards Classes has announced a further extension of the deadline for the Social and Educational Survey, also known as the caste census, offering a last chance to citizens who missed the survey.

According to the PTI, those who were missed can now complete the process online by November 30.

In an official statement, the Karnataka State Commission for Backwards Classes on Tuesday stated, “In order to provide an opportunity to everyone to participate in the survey, the period for self-participation through the online link has finally been extended till November 30.”

Here’s How You Can Participate Online

Citizens who were missed during the physical enumeration can now complete their submission digitally. The Commission has provided an online self-declaration option accessible at https://kscbcselfdeclaration.karnataka.gov.in.

The Social and Educational Survey, which began on September 22, has been extended repeatedly past its initial October 7 deadline to improve coverage. The large door-to-door survey concluded on October 31 with an 89.48 per cent participation rate. The officials cited two main hurdles during the survey: approximately 4.22 lakh households refused to participate, and 34.49 lakh homes were inaccessible (locked or vacant) during the survey period, the PTI report added.
