Karnataka Weather Alert: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a possibility of medium to heavy rain across several districts of Karnataka, including the capital Bengaluru, over the next five days, even as the cold wave continues to affect the state.

Authorities have warned residents to stay vigilant during the warning period and plan outdoor activities accordingly to avoid inconvenience.

Karnataka Weather Forecast

The weather department has forecast that while the cold weather conditions will persist, the state is also bracing for moderate to heavy rain over the next few days. As per the latest forecast, moderate rain is expected in isolated places of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi districts, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Mysore, Chikkamagaluru, Uttara Kannada, Hassan and Kodagu districts for the next five days.

Dry Weather To Persist In THESE Areas

While the southern interior districts of Kolar, Mysore and Ramanagara are expected to receive moderate rainfall, dry weather conditions are likely to prevail in Bellary, Bengaluru, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga, Davangere, Hassan, Kodagu, Mandya, Shivamogga, Tumkur, and Vijayanagar districts.

Bengaluru Weather Forecast

Bengaluru continues to experience a pattern of cool, damp and cloudy weather conditions, with high chances of rain over the next few days. The weather department has forecast that several districts of Karnataka, including Bengaluru, are expected to experience medium to heavy rain with partly cloudy weather conditions.

Cold Wave Grips Karnataka, Drop In Temperature Expected

The cold wave has gripped most of Karnataka, with a significant drop in minimum temperatures across the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning, predicting that the temperature will continue its downward trend across most districts in the coming days, with a severe cold wave expected to affect the Northern interior regions.
