Arsh Dalla aka Arshdeep Singh, a Canada-based pro-Khalistani terrorist, was chargesheeted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for conspiring and plotting terror attacks in various parts of Punjab and Delhi, the agency said on Tuesday. Three aides of Dalla were also charged with him for running a terror gangster network working against the country. The latest step is part of NIA's wide-ranging action against the Khalistani sleeper cells working on the behest of the terrorists sitting and operating from outside India.

The agency notified that Arshdeep Singh along with his Indian associates Harjeet Singh alias Harry Maur, Ravinder Singh alias Rajvinder Singh alias Harry Rajpura, and Rajeev Kumar alias Sheela were charge-sheeted.

"Canada-based Arshdeep Singh alias Arsh Dala and his Indian agents Harjeet Singh alias Harry Maur, Ravinder Singh alias Rajvinder Singh alias Harry Rajpura, and Rajeev Kumar alias Sheela have been charge sheeted before the NIA Special Court, New Delhi (on Monday)," said the statement issued by the anti-terror agency.

Dalla Associated With Nijjar's "Khalistan Tiger Force"

The agency further said that the agents of Dalla were running a major terror gangster syndicate in the country on Dalla's instructions. Notably, Arshdeep Dalla is associated with the banned Khalistani outfit Khalistan Tiger Force.

The NIA stated that the accused, Maur and Rajpura, were operating as sleeper cells and being harboured by Rajeev Kumar. The trio had planned to carry out a series of terror attacks under Dala's direction and with funds received from him.

According to the statement, Maur and Rajpura were the gang's shooters tasked with executing targeted killings, while Rajeev Kumar, also known as Sheela, was receiving funds from Arsh Dala to shelter Harry Maur and Harry Rajpura.

Further NIA investigations revealed that Kumar was also providing logistical support and arranging weapons for Maur and Rajpura on Dala's instructions.

The probe agency had arrested Maur and Rajpura on November 23, 2023, and Kumar on January 12, 2024.

"Investigations are continuing to dismantle the entire terrorist-gangster syndicate," the NIA added.
