Tamil Nadu Election Result 2026: Tamil Nadu Election Result 2026: The Kolathur, Perambur, and Edappadi seats are the key constituencies, which remained a focal point during the entire election campaign in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections 2026. These seats are the highlight of the election because Chief Minister MK Stalin, electoral debutant actor Vijay and former CM Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) are contesting from here.

Kolathur Assembly Election Results

The Kolathur Assembly constituency is represented by CM Stalin, and he is contesting to retain the seat. The chief minister is facing a challenge from AIADMK's P Santhana Krishnan and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam leader VS Babu.

Perambur Assembly Election Results

The Perambur Assembly constituency is in the news because the actor-turned-politician, Vijay, is attempting to begin his political career from here. DMK candidate RD Shekar is the biggest challenger against Vijay. The AIADMK ceded the Perambur constituency in Chennai to its alliance partner, the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK). PMK fielded Thilagabama in the constituency.

Edappadi Assembly Election Results

The Edappadi Assembly constituency is one of the hot seats in Tamil Nadu, as the top Opposition leader and the AIADMK General Secretary, Edappadi Palaniswami K is contesting from here. DMK's Kasi C is the biggest challenger in the seat. The constituency is represented by the former chief minister EPS.

Edappadi 9:30 PM Trends: AIADMK chief K Palaniswami on Monday won by a record margin of 98,110 votes from Edappadi assembly constituency in the district. The former chief minister defeated his nearest rival, an independent candidate Premkumar K, by securing 1,48,933 votes. This is Palaniswami's sixth big win from the constituency in Salem district since the 1989 Assembly elections.

Perambur 9:30 PM Trends: TVK chief Vijay on Monday won from Perambur constituency by defeating his DMK rival R D Shekar by 53,715 votes in the Assembly elections held on April 23.
According to Election Commission data, Vijay secured 1,20,365 votes and Shekar - 66,650 votes.
