Kolkata Metro News: Keeping the potential surge in the number of commuters, the administration of the Kolkata Metro has decided to provide additional services on the blue line on May 25 to ease the UPSC exam commute. The development comes as a relief for thousands of UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) aspirants. The exam is scheduled for coming Sunday, May 25.

By providing early services, the move aims to ease travel for candidates heading to their exam centres early in the morning. 8 additional trains will run on the route, taking the total number of trains to 138 from the usual 130 trains. 69 trains in each direction will operate throughout the day on the Blue Line, which starts from Kavi Subhash to Dakshineswar.
