Mahakumbh Train Viral News: Late on Saturday night, trains bound for Prayagraj at Cantt station were fully booked with devotees attending the Kumbh Mela. In a surprising turn of events, some passengers, unable to find space, entered the loco cabin of a stationary train. However, they were quickly removed by personnel from the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) and the incident has since gone viral on social media.

The Chhapra-Jhunsi Kumbh Mela Special train (train number 05129) was stationed on platform two when some individuals noticed the door of the loco cabin, attached to a dead engine at the rear, was open. They climbed inside and closed the door, prompting concern from a mechanical department employee who had returned to the area.

When the employee called out to them, the passengers inside did not respond, leading to the involvement of RPF and GRP officers. Upon their arrival, the security forces successfully evacuated the cabin without disrupting train operations, according to Director Arpit Gupta.

A "dead engine" refers to a stationary locomotive that is used to facilitate train movements without needing to be shunted on the platform. The Kumbh Mela Special train featured a dead engine at its rear to enhance the efficiency of train operations, similar to a MEMU train setup.
