Mangaluru Wine And Cake Festival 2024: With just a few days remaining for Christmas and New Year, celebrations have taken a thrilling turn as Mangaluru's most awaited wine and cake festival was held in Kadri Park this Sunday. The public turned out in large numbers to witness the grand fest on December 22.

The event was hosted by Rathna's Wine Gate at Kadri Park with the tagline: Sip, Savour and Celebrate.

The event, which took place from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM, was the third edition this month after wine festivals that were hosted over the previous two weekends proved to be a huge success.

With its intriguing combination of wines, cakes, and traditional kuswar, the event this time drew a constant stream of visitors all day long. Live music performances by Dale Rodricks and Oak Sessions added to the joyous atmosphere, making the weekend celebration one that Mangalureans would never forget as they prepared for the holidays.

Additionally, attending the wine festival were officials- Mullai Muhilan, DCP Siddarth Goyal, Assistant Commissioner Harshvardhan, and Assistant Deputy Commissioner Dr Santhosh.

Christmas Celebration In Mangaluru

As Christmas draws near, the coastal city is a hive of activity. While folks make their final holiday shopping, streets and shops are decked up in lights and decorations.

Shops and bakeries on the fringes of the city are selling Kuswar, decorations, and sweets, demonstrating the festive spirit and Yuletide. The city is a flurry of Christmas shopping and decorations in sites like KS Rao Road, Milagres, Hampankatta, and the central market.
