The management has asked Pawar's parents/guardians to appear before the institute on Saturday for her counselling.
What Is The Whole Controversy?
The controversy erupted after a video clip from a show hosted by Comedian and YouTuber Pranit More, recorded about three months ago, began circulating online.
While interacting with the audience, More asked Pawar about whether students remain serious or crack jokes during autopsies. To this, Pawar said that they often make fun of anatomy-related experiences with cadavers. The matter escalated when she mentioned that she and her colleagues would compare the sizes of male cadavers' private parts.
The video clip went viral on social media, with netizens describing it as insensitive, inhuman, and disrespectful towards body donors.
'I Take Responsibility For It': Pawar

She added that, looking back, she understood how her words could be interpreted differently from what she had intended. Pawar made her Instagram account private shortly after posting the apology.
The Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) at KEM Hospital on Thursday acknowledged that while the student's comments were inappropriate and did not reflect the values expected from a medical student, the online campaign against her had crossed the line into 'targeted harassment' and 'personal vilification'.
