MHADA Lottery 2026: The results of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) 206 lottery were announced on Thursday. As per MHADA, a total of 97,613 applications were received for 2,640 apartments on May 28, 2026. As of May 29, MHADA has got 69,526 Earnest Money Deposits (EMDs).

Documents Required For Successful Applicants
1. After winning, download your Provisional Offer Letter (POL)/Intimation Letter from your MHADA account or mobile app.
2. Go to the MHADA office to collect the original documents.
3. Give documents for verification which includes identity proof, address proof, income documents, other documents written in the conditional offer letter.
4. Pay the remaining money as per MHADA’s timeline.
5. MHADA will finalise the allotment process. After this, property registration and possession process shall begin.
How Many Homes Are Available Under MHADA Lottery 2026?
A total of 2,640 affordable homes were up for grabs in Mumbai. As per MHADA, 1,762 apartments of the total number, were under construction.
The MHADA Lottery 2026 offers residential units in multiple Mumbai neighbourhoods, catering to buyers across different income groups. While many of the available apartments are priced in the Rs 2 crore to Rs 4 crore range, there are also budget-friendly options. The lowest-priced homes are located in Mankhurd and Goregaon, with units measuring over 300 sq ft and starting at Rs 29 lakh and Rs 32 lakh, respectively.
At the premium end, the costliest apartment in the lottery is a High Income Group (HIG) unit in Tardeo, South Mumbai, at around 6.82 crore. The most affordable offering is an Economic Weaker Section (EWS) flat in Mankhurd, available for just over Rs 29 lakh.
The lottery also includes under-construction housing projects in Vikhroli, Goregaon, and Borivali. Out of the 1,762 under-construction apartments, 128 are located in Borivali East, 85 are situated in Goregaon West, while the remaining units are being developed in Kanamwar Nagar and Vikhroli.
