In a shocking incident from Madhya Pradesh, a 5-year-old boy was beheaded in the Dhar district, in front of his mother, by an unidentified man on Friday, who was alleged to be mentally stable. The victim has been identified as Vikas. Following the assault on the child, a mob gathered outside his residence and thrashed the accused, who later succumbed to his injuries.
According to a report by NDTV, quoting the police, the accused, Mahesh, arrived on a bike and entered the residence, registered under the name of Kalu Singh. According to the family, the accused was not known to him and had never visited the residence.
Vikas’s mother, who desperately tried to save his child, recalled how the accused picked up a sharp spade-like tool all of a sudden and attacked the boy, thereby cutting the child’s neck from his torso. The attacker then struck his shoulder, leaving the boy's body mutilated.
