Navi Mumbai Murder: A severely wounded body of a 20-year-old woman was found thrown in bushes near Navi Mumbai railway station on Saturday, officials said. The deceased was brutally stabbed to death allegedly by her boyfriend, police said, adding the accused is currently absconding, and multiple teams have been constituted to nab him.
The police received a PCR call around 2 am that a dead body was found in the bushes near Uran railway station. The body was viciously punctured with multiple stab wound marks, indicating she was brutally killed, DCP Navi Mumbai Vivek Pansare said.
Later, the police identified the deceased as Yashashree Shinde of Uran. The 20-year-old woman used to work in nearby Belapur town which is 25 kilometers away, an NDTV report stated. She was earlier reported missing, the police said.
Navi Mumbai Murder: Love Affair Gone Wrong
According to the police, the preliminary investigation points out that this might be a case of a love affair gone wrong. The boyfriend, who is being considered as the prime suspect, has been missing since the murder, officials added.
"Our initial investigation suggests the woman was murdered after a love affair went wrong. The girl's boyfriend had also gone missing with the girl and is yet to be found. He is the primary suspect. A case of murder has been registered and five police teams have been formed to trace him," said an official as quoted by NDTV.

The accused, irked due to the interference of her girlfriend's roommate in the relationship, attacked her with a knife in a shocking crime which was recorded on the CCTV. The murder accused, Abhishek, was arrested earlier today by Bengaluru police from Madhya Pradesh.
