From Ghazipur To Indian Railways
Originally from Saraiya in the Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh, Shrini started preparing for the railways competitive examinations after completing her primary and secondary education. She was selected as an Assistant Loco Pilot for the Indian Railways in 2017. Previously operating the Vande Bharat train between Varanasi and Delhi, she is now among the 13 members deployed for the sleeper Vande Bharat train, including the duties of a guard, a TTE, and a loco pilot.
Meanwhile, Jyoti Kumari has been assigned the role of guard. The participation of women across different posts of Indian Railways has significantly improved the role of women.
