INDIA Bloc EC March Live Updates: Heavy congestion was spotted in Lutyens' Delhi as barricades, diversions and security restrictions turned key roads into long stretches of slow-moving traffic on Tuesday. From India Gate and Connaught Place to Parliament Street and Jantar Mantar, bumper-to-bumper traffic built up on several stretches, with vehicles inching forward amid diversions and intermittent stoppages.

INDIA Protest Election Commission Live: A few NSUI and Indian Youth Congress workers who had entered Akashvani Bhavan along with Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and KC Venugopal, among others, were detained by the police.

INDIA Bloc EC March Live Updates: BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi held a press conference to slam Congress over the ongoing protest march. He accused Congress of being driven by a destructive mentality due to political defeats. "They may not like hearing this, but I would like to say this to them: Intoxicated by political defeat, their minds have become consumed by a defeated and destructive mentality.” The first family of our main Opposition party, the Congress, has, for the past four generations, ruled by strangling democracy and running a system of dynastic rule under the guise of democracy. And today, they have attempted to infiltrate Akashvani (All India Radio) as well."

INDIA Protest Election Commission Live: Samajwadi Party MPs Zia-ur-Rehman, Rajeev Rai and others climbed atop the barricades on Parliament Street as the protest march was stopped from proceeding further. Rai said, "The people of the nation have come forward against the Election Commission of India." Rehman said, " Votes are being looted, democracy is being killed; we demand the resignation of the CEC. The country should get justice. Today, we have marched from Parliament, but this could take the shape of a movement, and the whole country will come out on the roads."

Gyanesh Kumar CEC resignation Protest Live: Congress posted a video from Akashvani Bhawan in an X post, showing Rahul and other leaders of the INDIA bloc struggling to enter the Akashvani Bhawan. The caption starts with the iconic Akashvani welcoming note, 'Ye Akashvani Hai, Gaddar Gyanesh Kumar Ko Jana Hoga' (This is Akashvani, traitor Gyanesh Kumar will have to go). 

Election Commission protest live updates: Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi reached Akashvani Bhawan to bypass the heavily barricaded security architecture on the road to the ECI.  

INDIA Bloc EC march live: The INDIA bloc march was stopped near NITI Aayog office from where the MPs, including Rahul, Priyanka, Akhilesh and Derek O'Brien among others, were detained after they climbed atop the barricades. Rahul and Priyanka were later released.
