Several faces who shared the stage with Rahul Gandhi at his 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' event in Indore and talked about students' issues were either associated with NSUI, Youth Congress or political student movements.
Dainik Jagran investigation revealed that the youth who raised the issue of the poor condition of the university is associated with the Congress student organisation, NSUI; the girl who reported the hostel problems is an office bearer of the Youth Congress, and the youth who raised questions on the recruitment examinations has already been active in student movements.
Ranjit Kisanvanshi: Ranjit Kisanvanshi, a resident of Khategaon in Dewas, had raised the issue of irregularities in recruitment exams and the crackdown on protesters. His name had previously surfaced as a student leader involved in the MPPSC movement. Photos of him with Congress leaders and his involvement in political events have also surfaced.
Rajat Gangarekar: Rajat Gangarekar, from the Mandleshwar area of Khargone, had alleged that despite receiving a budget of crores of rupees, Dr BR Ambedkar University, Mhow, lacks guest faculty, adequate classrooms, and facilities for female students. Investigation revealed that Rajat is a B.Sc. (Agriculture) student and is associated with the NSUI. Photos of him with Congress leaders and organisation officials have also surfaced.

Radha Malviya: Ujjain's Radha Malviya raised the issue of housing and rent for PhD students, asking, "If industries can lease land for one rupee, why can't students get a room for one rupee?" Investigation revealed that, in addition to being a PhD student, she is also a member of the Ujjain District Panchayat, the State General Secretary of the Youth Congress, and the Shajapur District In-charge.
Priyanshi: Priyanshi, the sister of Arpit Jaj of Dewas, who died in the Satya Niketan PG accident in Delhi, spoke from the stage about the family's lack of justice. No evidence of her involvement with any political organisation has emerged.
However, relatives reported that after the accident, senior Congress leaders visited his home and took the initiative to introduce him to Rahul Gandhi. According to the family, discussions were also held about which issues to present to Rahul Gandhi at the event.
Deepti Singh Thakur: Deepti Singh Thakur stated from the stage that despite being selected, she was not appointed as a teacher and that the number of positions should be increased. She has been active in the teacher recruitment movement. According to the Education Department's clarification, her name is not on any Staff Selection Board (PEB) selection or waiting list. There is no legal provision for increasing positions after the results are released.
