The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued a public appeal for information related to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which occurred on April 22, 2025, and claimed the lives of 26 tourists. The agency is urging tourists, locals, and visitors who may have captured any photos, videos, or possess relevant information about the incident to come forward. Such inputs could prove vital in identifying those behind the attack and understanding their methods.

So far, the NIA has gathered several visuals linked to the attack and is carefully analysing them. To leave no stone unturned, the agency is ramping up its efforts to gather every possible lead.

In its appeal, the NIA has asked the public to contact them on mobile number 9654958816 or landline 011-24368800. People are encouraged to share their contact details and describe the information or media they can provide. A senior official from the agency will coordinate with them to collect the evidence.

As the primary body leading the probe, the NIA remains dedicated to examining all available material to track down the attackers and understand their strategy. Those who were present in the area during or before the incident may have unintentionally captured important clues that could help uncover the plot behind this shocking and targeted assault on tourists in Kashmir.
