DCP Ram Badhan Singh stated that the email was received by all four schools at 12 am on Tuesday night. When the management checked the system at 8:30 AM the next day, the principals and other officials were immediately informed about the matter. By then, classes had already begun in the schools.

The management alerted the police, and upon checking the emails, it was found that the email contained threats to kill all the children as a form of revenge. Based on the bomb threat, ADC Sumit Kumar Shukla, ACP Praveen Kumar and the station officer began a thorough investigation into the case.

After evacuating the entire school campus, the investigation lasted for two hours but no suspicious objects were found. The officers and management then breathed a sigh of relief. DCP mentioned that four cyber security teams were working to trace the sender of the email.

The team traced a link and identified the sender as a student from Noida, studying in class 9 at a local school. When questioned, the student admitted that he didn't want to attend school on Wednesday. To avoid going to school, he decided to send a threatening email to the school. While writing the email, he became afraid of getting caught. To cover his tracks, he searched Google for email IDs of three other schools and sent them the same threatening email.
