Odisha Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that cold conditions will intensify in Odisha from December 4 with the night temperature expected to fall by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature is expected to be between 13 and 15 degrees Celsius in most parts of the state on the night of December 3. Many parts of coastal Odisha may see temperatures of 15 degrees Celsius or above.

As per the weather body, the minimum night temperature on Monday was recorded at 11.5 degrees Celsius in Daringbadi, 12.4 degrees Celsius in G Udayagiri, 13.7 degrees Celsius in Jharsuguda, 13.8 degrees Celsius in Boudh, 14 degrees Celsius in Keonjhar and Phulbani, 14.5 degrees Celsius in Rourkela, 14.6 degrees Celsius in Dhenkanal and Angul, 14 degrees Celsius in Bhadrak, 15 degrees Celsius in Cuttack, 15.2 degrees Celsius in Balangir, 15.4 degrees Celsius in Sundargarh and 15.5 degrees Celsius in Nuapada and Nawarangpur.

Phulwani recorded a temperature of 3 degrees above normal. Titlagarh recorded 4.2 degrees above normal, Balangir 2.6 degrees, Sundargarh 2.4 degrees and Keonjhar 1.1 degrees above normal.

Similar to Tuesday, dense fog is expected to prevail in the state on Wednesday. The weather body has issued a warning regarding this. Dense fog is expected in Sundargarh and Jharsuguda, as well as in some areas of Koraput and Angul.
