Operation Sindoor: Indian Army and the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) held a joint press briefing on the Operation Sindoor in New Delhi, saying the 'action has been taken' against the terrorists behind the Pahalgam attack in which 26 people, mostly tourists were killed on April 22.

- Vikram Misri, Foreign Secretary said, "Upon investigating the Pahalgam terror attack, communication between terrorists and Pakistan has come to light. On the basis of eyewitnesses and investigation by other agencies, attackers have been identified as well."

-"Pakistan has emerged as safe haven for terrorists in the world. Banned international terrorists find it safe from being punished in this country. Pakistan is also known for deliberately misleading the world and international platforms," he added.
