Army Prepared To Deal With Any Situation
Security officials emphasised that while Pakistan periodically attempts to escalate tensions by violating the ceasefire, the Indian Army is fully prepared to deal with any situation. Officials added that troops are deployed in full strength and vigilance to secure the border and protect the nation's sovereignty.
The Army command has issued necessary instructions to troops deployed along the border to remain prepared for any eventuality. Officials are constantly reviewing the situation in the area and monitoring cross-border movements through modern surveillance equipment.
Situation Under Control
Several sectors of the Poonch and Rajouri districts are located directly along the Line of Control (LoC) and have historically been prone to periodic ceasefire violations. Consequently, security agencies maintain constant vigilance and respond effectively to any provocation.
At present, the situation in the Balakot sector remains normal but sensitive. The Indian Army is deployed with full vigilance along the border and is prepared to deal with any potential threat.
