"This matter concerns all of us and we have to speak in one voice," Joshi said.

Joshi also said several other such incidents have been reported in the past and it was not unexampled. He also asked members to exercise caution and not politicise the issue. "I request them not to politicise this issue," he said.

The Parliament witnessed a security threat after two persons-- Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D-- jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the visitors’ gallery in the middle of deliberation on Thursday.

They released gas canisters and shouted slogans before being overpowered by some MPs, who were present in the house. Around the same time, two other persons-- Amol Shinde and Neelam Devi -- sprayed coloured gas from canisters while shouting 'tanashahi nahi chalegi' outside Parliament premises.

The incident attracted a massive ire from the Opposition parties. Both the houses were adjourned following the ruckus by the lawmakers.
