To alleviate the growing traffic pressure in Patna, the Road Construction Department is planning to develop a massive infrastructure solution. The new alternative flyover project is designed to strengthen the connection between several parts of the city and provide a long-awaited escape from daily traffic congestion. People are expected to experience relief from the long daily traffic jams. This project is considered especially important for congested areas. Project Investment And Technical Details

The flyover is being constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 292.74 crore. Key technical highlights include:

Dual-Lane System: Along with the main flyover, dedicated service lanes are being built to separate local commuters from highway traffic.

The corridor includes multiple entry and exit points (access paths) to integrate seamlessly with the existing city roads.

Completion Timeline

The project is being monitored closely to ensure it meets its phased deadlines:

Phase 1: Work is in its final stages and is expected to be wrapped up within one to two months.

Phase 2: Work on the second stage will accelerate immediately following the first phase's completion.

Final Deadline: The entire project is scheduled to be fully operational by December 2026.
