Bengaluru News: A social media user on Sunday shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp chat, defining it as a "peak Bengaluru moment", as one of the team leads from her friend's office came to pick upon booking a cab ride. The screenshot further suggested that the team lead did not do it for financial reasons, but rather to cut the boredom. While reacting to the post, the netizens reacted in different ways. While some of them found it a great idea to enjoy their time, others wondered how a team lead could get so much time, especially when a debate is ongoing over toxic work culture in corporate offices.

"Funny thing happened you kow. I booked Uber and the guy who picked me up was a team lead at my office," the WhatsApp chat stated. “He said he does this for fun and to kill some boredom,” the message further read. The post author defined the incident as a peak Bengaluru moment, as several similar incidents have been reported in the past few months.

While reacting to the post, several social media users claimed that the employees do "bizarre" things to kill their boredom. However, the others pointed out that the employees get very little time to even do their daily chores.

"When i worked in US CEO of a large MNC whom we invited to home said he worked as a server in a hotel without any inhibition and we were fairly surprised at that time. Here in India it is a big deal. If this is true, he will make it big in life as he is hard working. Good luck," one of the social media users stated. "Naah it seems fake, unless her team lead from sales executive or hospitality industry," another one commented.
