Prime Minister Narendra Modi went on a 10-km roadshow in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi at 10 PM on Tuesday. The PM landed at Birsa Munda airport in a special aircraft late at night. The roadshow began amid tight security following his arrival.
People in huge crowds lined up on both sides of the stretch to greet PM Modi. He also took to social media platform X and shared pictures from the roadshow, and thanked the people of Ranchi for the warm welcome.
"The way a large number of my family members came to Ranchi that night and gave their blessings is overwhelming," he wrote on X.

PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Jharkhand, that began on the eve of tribal icon Birsa Munda's birth anniversary. Besides, Birsa Munda's birth anniversary, November 15 also marks Jharkhand's statehood day.
He was received and welcomed by Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the airport.
Ahead of the roadshow scheduled on his visit, traffic restrictions were put in along the stretch from the airport to Raj Bhavan from 8 PM to 10:30 PM, the same route that was taken by PM Modi.

According to the district administration officials, the entire route from the airport to Raj Bhavan and from Governor's House to Birsa Munda Old Jail was declared as a no-fly zone for drones from 6 PM on Tuesday to 11 PM.
