Pahalgam Attack: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday reiterated his 'zero tolerance' policy against cross-border terrorism and said that the Indian government is committed to take a "firm and decisive" action against terrorists who carried out the ghastly attack in Kashmir's Pahalgam last month resulting in the death of 26 people.
PM Modi without taking Pakistan's name also said that India will also punish the "supporters of the terrorists". India has time and again accused Pakistan of cross-border terror activities and providing safe havens to terrorists.
Speaking after holding wide-ranging talks with Angolan President Joao Manuel Goncalves Laurenco, PM Modi said, "We are committed to take firm and decisive action against terrorists and those who support them. We thanked Angola for their support in our fight against cross-border terrorism."

The prime minister also thanked Angolan President for his condolences for the people killed in Pahalgam Attack. "We are of the same opinion that terrorism is the biggest threat to humanity. I thanked President Lourenco and Angola for their condolences to the people killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam," the PM said.
The Pahalgam attack, carried out by terrorists affiliated to "The Resistance Force," resulted in the deaths of 26 people including one Nepali citizen and one local pony rider. The attack was one of the deadliest attacks in the Valley in the last 20 years. The attackers allegedly asked the tourists abot their religious identity before gunning them down.
Following the attack, PM Modi issued a stern warning to the perpetrators and said that India will "pursue the terrorists to the end of the earth." PM Modi said that the entire nation is saddened by the brutality with which terrorists killed innocent civilians in Pahalgam.
"On April 22, terrorists killed innocent people of the country in J-K's Pahalgam. The country is in mourning and in pain following this incident. We stand with the families of the victims. Today, from the soil of Bihar, India will identify, track and punish every terrorist, their handlers and their backers," PM Modi had said.
"We will pursue them to the end of the earth. India's spirit will never be broken by Terrorism. Terrorism will not go unpunished. Every effort will be made to ensure that justice is done. The entire nation is firm in this resolve. Everyone who believes in humanity is on our side. I thank the people of various countries and their leaders, who have stood with us in these times," the prime minsiter added.
