PM Modi 75th Birthday: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s role as an administrator has been defined by a focus on solving long-standing challenges, modernising governance, and driving inclusive development. His journey from Gujarat Chief Minister to Prime Minister highlights a consistent emphasis on innovation, technology, and people-first policies.

In Gujarat, PM Modi addressed chronic water scarcity through large-scale irrigation projects, check dams, and the Jyotigram Yojana, transforming the state into an agricultural hub. His administrative model emphasised e-governance, grievance redressal, and ease of doing business, laying the foundation for future national reforms.

As Prime Minister, he has overseen peace-building efforts in the Northeast, reduced left-wing extremism, and facilitated the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya following a constitutional resolution.

Kutch, Saurashtra, and North Gujarat faced severe water scarcity, with 26 drought years from 1950 to 2000 and 12 major droughts from 1980 to 2001, impacting agriculture. Under CM Modi, BiSAG (2003) used satellite technology to build over 1.66 lakh check dams by 2016, with 28,408 million cubic feet of storage.

Deaths, including those of civilians and security forces, have reduced by 85%, from 1,005 in 2010 to 150 in 2024.
