PM Modi's Northeast Visit Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit several northeastern states, including Mizoram, Assam, and Manipur, today and will inaugurate several key development projects in these regions. PM Modi will also visit Manipur's Churachandpur, his first visit to the state since the ethnic violence broke out in 2023. The prime minister will lay the foundation stone of several projects worth Rs 7,300 crore and is also likely to address a crowd. He will also visit Imphal and inaugurate projects worth more than Rs 1,200 crore.

"Over the next few days, on 13th, 14th and 15th September, I will be attending programmes in Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal and Bihar which are aimed at boosting ‘Ease of Living.’ These projects will have a very positive impact on people’s lives, especially towards boosting connectivity, job creation and more," PM Modi stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday.
