Prayagraj Hotel Fire: In a tragic incident in Prayagraj, a massive fire broke out at a hotel in the Civil Lines area, leading to panic among the locals. The officials, while providing details, stated that the firefighters have arrived at the site and efforts are underway to control the flames. As per the reports, at least seven people are still trapped inside the hotel; however, no injury has been reported so far.

The eyewitnesses stated that smoke was seen rising from one of the rooms, adding that the situation escalated within minutes. They further stated that the fire created panic, adding that the hotel staffers and customers panicked and rushed outside. The firefighters and police officials arrived at the site after being informed about the tragic incident.

As per the reports, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken immediate cognizance of the matter and directed officials to expedite relief and rescue operations. In a separate incident, a fire broke out in a coach of the Patna Fast Passenger Train at Sasaram railway station in Bihar on Monday. Initial inquiry suggests that the fire was caused by a suspected short circuit.

The Sasaram-Patna fast passenger train's coach caught fire while it was at the Sasaram railway station's Platform 6 shortly before it was scheduled to depart. The fire created panic among the passengers on the platform, though no casualties were reported.

Railway authorities confirmed there were no casualties in the incident. A major accident was avoided due to the quick response of Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel and local residents present at the station.
