Leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi took a jibe at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday over scams, polluted air, dirty water and broken roads in Delhi as voting for assembly elections is currently underway in the national capital.
"While voting, remember who is responsible for polluted air, dirty water, broken roads. Who committed the biggest scam in Delhi while talking about doing clean politics?" Gandhi said in a post on X.
He further appealed to the people of Delhi to exercise their right to vote and bring Delhi back on the path of progress.
"My dear brothers and sisters of Delhi. I appeal to all of you to go and vote today. Every vote you give to Congress will protect your rights, strengthen the Constitution and put Delhi back on the path of progress," Rahul Gandhi added.
Delhi Election 2025 Voter Turnout
According to the Election Commission, the national capital recorded a voter turnout of 19.95 per cent till 11 am. Delhi is voting on all 70 assembly constituencies.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged people in Delhi to participate in the voting exercise in large numbers. He also congratulated first-time voters.

A total of 1.56 crore voters will decide the fate of 699 candidates contesting across 70 constituencies. Of the voters, 83.76 lakh are men, 72.36 lakh are women, and 1,267 are third-gender voters.
Hotly contested constituencies include New Delhi, Jangpura, Kalkaji, Okhla, Mustafabad, Bijwasan, Kasturba Nagar, Greater Kailash, and Patparganj, among others. The results will be declared on February 8.
