Rajasthan Eid-Ul-Fitr Celebrations: Under the banner of Hindu Muslim Unity Committee, Hindus showered flowers on the Muslims who came to Eidgah, located at Delhi Road in Jaipur to celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr. The celebrations began on Sunday evening following the sighting of the Eid moon. With the confirmation of Eid, families and communities started preparations, sharing greetings and making arrangements for the special day.

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the culmination of the fasting month of Ramzan. The Muslim community eagerly looks forward to this occasion each year, preparing traditional delicacies and engaging in charitable acts.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other politicians on Monday greeted people on Eid-ul-Fitr. The prime minister wished that the festival enhances the spirit of hope, harmony and kindness in society. CM Nitish attended an event on Eid at Patna's Gandhi Maidan.

In a post on X, PM Modi said, "Greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr. May this festival enhance the spirit of hope, harmony and kindness in our society. May there be joy and success in all your endeavours. Eid Mubarak!"

Shawwal is the 10th and the corresponding month after the holy month of Ramadan in the Hijri calendar (Islamic calendar) and marks the end of fasting. Eid-Ul-Fitr is observed on the first day of Shawwal month.
