Rajasthan Road Accident: A gravel-laden truck hit a moving car after suffering a tyre burst on the National Highway-52 Silor overbridge in Rajasthan's Bundi district on Thursday, claiming four lives and leaving one injured. A crane present at the site also toppled after the vehicle got stuck on it.
ASP Uma Sharma said, "A trailer lost control after one of its tyres burst and collided with a Creta car that was moving ahead. As a result, both vehicles overturned onto the opposite side of the road. Out of five people, four have died, and one is injured and is receiving treatment. The affected family was travelling to attend a wedding ceremony when the accident occurred."

Principal Medical Officer of Bundi District Hospital, Dr LN Meena, said as soon as they received information about the incident, ambulances were immediately dispatched to the spot. It was learnt that the car was trying to overtake a truck when a side trailer loaded with sand overturned onto the vehicle, trapping it underneath, he added.
Three Brothers Among Four Killed
Three brothers among four were killed after the truck overturned on their car under the Sadar police station area. The deceased have been identified as Moinuddin (60), Fariuddin (45) and Azamiuddin (40), and their cousin Saifuddin (28), while Saifuddin's father, Vasiuddin (64), suffered minor injuries. All were residents of the Tonk district, they said.
The accident occurred at around 6.30 pm on Thursday when the five were travelling to Kota to attend a birthday celebration, Additional Superintendent of Police Bundi Uma Sharma said.
