Rajasthan News: The Border Security Force (BSF) arrested a 21-year-old man near the international border in Jaisalmer. According to jagran.com the man was trying to cross into Pakistan via Rajasthan.
The arrest comes as security agencies are on high alert following the November 10 car blast near Delhi's historic Red Fort. The Indian Army is monitoring border areas from Gujarat to Rajasthan and other states.
Man Arrested At Indo-Pak Border In Jaisalmer
The man has been identified as Pankaj Kashyap, a resident of Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He was detained after he was found moving suspiciously near the border, officials said on Sunday.
As per the police, BSF personnel stopped the youth while patrolling near the canal area under the Mohangarh police station. The patrol team observed his suspicious behaviour and questioned him.

Man Was Trying To Sneak Into Pakistan
During initial questioning, the man revealed that he was trying to cross over to Pakistan, officials said. The BSF later handed him over to the police for further legal action.
According to the police, the youth will be questioned in detail by security agencies at the Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) on Monday to ascertain his intentions and identity.
