Rajasthan News: More than 50 students got admitted to a hospital in Rajasthan's Dausa on Sunday due to food poisoning after consuming a meal at a government hospital. The officials, while providing details, stated that almost 15 to 20 students were referred to the district hospital after they complained of stomachache and headache. They further assured that the children are in stable condition, adding that a probe has been ordered into the matter. The officials further asserted that strict action will be taken against the responsible individuals.
While providing details, District Collector Devendra Kumar stated that two teams have been assigned to inspect the food and to determine whether the meal lacked nutritional value. "Almost over 50 students from a school in Chudiyavas came to Nangal CHC with a stomachache and headache...Almost 15 to 20 students were referred to the District Hospital, Dausa. The preliminary reason is that the food they had was possibly of substandard quality...The children are in stable condition now," Kumar was quoted as saying by ANI.

"We have sent two teams for investigation at the district level, a food safety officer to inspect the food and a team from the education department to determine what was lacking in the nutrition...We will investigate the quality of the food, and strict action will be taken against those guilty," he added.
