In a major action against the 2021 Rajasthan Sub-Inspector exam paper leak, the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the state police arrested a former member of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ramuram Raika.

Besides, the SOG arrested Raika's son and daughter, along with three other trainees, for their involvement in the paper leak and for securing a position in the exam, news agency PTI reported.

"The former RPSC member was arrested on Sunday for providing the sub-inspector recruitment exam paper to his children," ADG SOG VK Singh told the news agency.

Raika will be presented in the court on Monday.

All five arrested suspects were presented in court on Sunday, where they were remanded to police custody until September 7.

So far, three separate charge sheets have been filed against 61 accused in the Sub-Inspector Recruitment Exam 2021 case. According to the report, among the 61 accused, 33 are trainee sub-inspectors, four are selected candidates who did not join the service, and 24 are their associates linked to the paper leak gang. The police have stated that the search for 65 other accused individuals is ongoing.
