Rajasthan Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert in Bhilwara, Sirohi, Baran, Tonk Bundi for the next 48 hours as monsoon revives over Rajasthan. The weather body has also issued a red alert for Pali, Kota, Jodhpur, Chittorgarh, Nagaur, and Ajmer. In this regard, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has asked all district collectors to be on high alert.

Rajasthan Weather Alert Kota, Pali, Jalore And Dholpur Worst Hit

Kota, Pali, Jalore, and Dholpur are the worst hit districts in Rajasthan. According to an NDTV report, at least 12 deaths have occurred in rain-related incidents across the state. The overflowing Chambal River has submerged low-lying colonies in Kota.

Rajasthan Weather Alert: Schools Shut In Pali

Schools remained closed in Pali on Tuesday. The district is grappling with overflowing seasonal rivers. In Pali city, waterlogging was reported from Ramdev Road, Sindhi colony, Jai Nagar, Shekhawat Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, and New Pratap Nagar.

Rajasthan Weather Alert: Trains Affected

The route between Pali and Marwar junction was impacted. Multiple trains were rescheduled or diverted. Trains were rescheduled in Jalore and Jodhpur as tracks were submerged at some locations between Marwar Junction and Luni.

Sabarmati Express has also been cancelled. In Jalore, Pali, Luni, and Marwar Junction, trains have been diverted via the alternate Samdari-Bhildi route.
