Currently, the monsoon is still some distance away from the neighbouring state of Madhya Pradesh. However, due to an active low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, the IMD anticipates the monsoon may reach Madhya Pradesh between June 10 and 12, ahead of the usual date of June 15. This premature entry is expected to trigger intensified pre-monsoon activity in Rajasthan as well.
