Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra recently shared images of craftsmen working on the interior carvings of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which is scheduled to be inaugurated on January 22, 2024.

In the pictures shared by the trust on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, the artists can be seen sculpting on pillars inside the Ram Mandir.

The trust had previously posted a 30-second video offering a glimpse of the temple's construction, referring to it as the "Culmination of 500 years of struggle." The video showcased the Sanctum Sanctorum, golden doors, and intricate pillar and wall carvings.

This grand temple will feature five domes and a 161-ft tower. The three-floor structure will include a central Garbh Griha to allow sunlight to fall on the idol of Ram Lalla. The temple will also include Keertan Mandap, Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, and two Prarthana Mandaps on each side, with fully covered sanctum sanctorum.

Two idols of Lord Ram will be placed in the temple: the original idol found in 1949, and a larger statue visible from a distance, as described by Jagdish Afle, the project manager of the Ram Mandir construction.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has confirmed his attendance at the temple's inauguration on January 22, 2024, describing it as a historic moment.
