Work To Be Completed By June 2025

The RRTS began operations in October 2023 on a small section in Ghaziabad. The 17-km stretch was between Sahibabad and Duhai depot in Ghaziabad. It was further extended in March, with at least 22 lakh passengers travelling on the service so far. The entire section of the corridor between Delhi and Meerut will have 25 stations. The NCRTC is hoping to complete the entire stretch between Delhi and Meerut by June 2025.
