Republic Day is celebrated every year on January 26. The day marks the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950. Like every year, the Republic Day Parade will take place in the national capital. It will start at 10:00 AM from Vijay Chowk. Those who want to watch the parade can buy online tickets.
Republic Day parade shows India's rich culture and history and people from different parts of the country come to witness the parade. Meanwhile, if you too want to watch the parade, you can follow the below-mentioned steps and book your ticket.
Republic Day 2024 Parade: Steps To Book Ticket Online
Step 1: Go to the official website of the Ministry of Defence--www.aamantran.mod.gov.in.
2. Log in if you already have an account or create a new account.
3. Enter your personal details including name, birth date, mobile number, etc. Further, verify the authentication code sent to the registered mobile number (OTP).
4. Now, choose the event you want to attend from the options including FDR Republic Day Parade, Republic Day Parade, and Beating the Retreat.
5. Provide attendee information and upload an original Photo ID to verify.
6. Complete the online payment process and secure your tickets.
Meanwhile, you can also buy the tickets offline by following these steps:
Republic Day 2024 Parade: Steps To Book Ticket Offline
1. In order to book tickets offline, you need to visit the authorised offline outlet or designated ticket counter for Republic Day events.
2. Give the identity proof and fill up the physical form with your personal details including name, birth date, mobile number, etc.
3. Choose the event you want to attend. There will be multiple options including FDR Republic Day Parade, Republic Day Parade, and Beating the Retreat.
4. You then need to provide your information along with a photocopy of the original Photo ID.
5. Complete the payment and secure your ticket.
You can avail of offline tickets from IDTC Travel Counters, the Government of India Tourist Office, and DTDC Counters. Besides these, the Departmental Sale Counters will sell the tickets from 10 AM to 5:30 PM daily. The Parliament House Reception Office will also be selling the tickets from 11 AM to 4 PM. It must be noted that the Government of India Tourist Office will be closed on Sundays and the Parliament House Reception Office will be closed on weekends and holidays.
