As of 9:25 am, the ECI data shows BJP leading with 21 seats, JDU lwith 16, while  RJD behind with 8 and INC leading in just 3 seat. This is the most accurate data on Bihar Assembly Elections right now.

As the initial trends come in, let’s have a look constituency-wise data.

As per the India today,  The NDA crossing the winning seat mark with 137 seats, leading significantly over the MGB, which is currently leading on 70 seats.

RJD’s Ramvriksh Sada has won Alauli seat, As per the  NDTV trends. With 47, 183 votes polled for him, he has defeated JD(U)’s Sadahana Soda (44,410).

Rahul Kirti, 51, is Jan Suraaj Party candidate from Raghunathpur constituency.

Chhoti Kumari is representing BJP in 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections for Chapra constituency , Saran. Her educational qualification is 12th Pass and she has declared social service as their profession.

Chhoti Kumari does not have any pending criminal cases against her, as per data available on MyNeta.

As per India Today, Initial trends from Bihar showed the ruling NDA leading in 87 seats, against 59 for the opposition INDIA bloc, as counting progressed across all 243 constituencies, early trends indicated.

Among individual parties, the BJP led in 49 seats, JD(U) in 35, while the RJD was ahead in 46 and the Congress in seven.

On the initial trends, Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal told to the media:  "We are happy with the initial trends. The 160 number is a magic figure for us. The fact that Tejashwi said he will form the government only shows his arrogance."

As per the early trends, the BJP is ahead in 40 seats. The JD-U is ahead by 24 seats. The RJD was leading on 33 seats, while Congress was ahead on 7 seats, according to TV channels.

Overall, the NDA is leading on 65 seats against MGV's 41 seats, as per TV trends.

Bihar Minister Prem Kumar said on Friday that he was confident that the NDA would form the government again. He claimed that the alliance would win more than 200 seats. He said that voters supported the NDA because they were satisfied with its development work.

Speaking to ANI in Patna, Prem Kumar said, "...People of Bihar have come out in large numbers to vote...NDA will be ahead in all the seats and the NDA government will be formed again in Bihar. I am confident that the NDA government will win more than 200 seats. The people are very happy with the development work done by the NDA government."

While the BJP has started strong with a lead on at least 27 seats according to very early trends by PValue, the case is not the same for its ally JD(U), which is currently leading on 10 seats.

Early trends show that RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, who is the Mahagathbandhan's Chief Ministerial candidate, is leading in Raghopur.

Counting of votes has begun in Bihar, where the results will decide the fate of 243 assembly constituencies and whether Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will return to power for a record fifth time or the state will head towards a political transition after two decades of his leadership. The two-phase polling, held on November 6 and 11, saw a historic 67.13% voter turnout, with 7.45 crore voters exercising their franchise to field 2,616 candidates – the highest turnout in the state's electoral history.

The Election Commission of India will begin releasing official Bihar Assembly Election Results 2025 through its dedicated portals; eciresults.nic.in, eci.gov.in, and results.eci.gov.in.

Counting of votes is expected to continue until Saturday. However, by the end of the day, the Election Commission of India will be able to clearly declare the winner.

The main contenders for the Bihar election 2025 are the NDA alliance and the Mahagatbandhan alliance.

The NDA alliance consists of Janata Dal (United), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) and Rashtriya Lok Morcha.

While, the Mahagathbandhan led by RJD includes the Congress party, the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (CPI-ML) led by Deepankar Bhattacharya, the Communist Party of India (CPI), the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM), and Mukesh Sahani's Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP).

According to the ECI data, the overall voter turnout for the state stood at 66.91 percent. Of this, phase 1 saw a turnout of 65.08 percent and phase 2 of 68.76 percent.

- The NDA (BJP + JD(U) + allies) won 125 seats and formed a government under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.

- Despite being in the same alliance, the BJP (74 seats) outperformed the JD(U) (43 seats).

-The RJD (75 seats) emerged as the largest party, but the Grand Alliance was reduced to 110 seats.

-The LJP (1 seat) failed to make a significant impact but inflicted losses on the JD(U) in several constituencies.

- The AIMIM made significant gains in Seemanchal by winning 5 seats.

The Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) contested all 243 seats, including some with friendly contests among allies.

Counting will commence at 8:00 AM. on 14th November 2025. As per Commission’s directions, postal ballot counting will begin first, counting of EVMs will begin thereafter at 8.30 AM. Counting of Postal ballots is to be completed before the penultimate round of EVM counting. Postal ballots are counted in the
presence of candidates or their counting agents by the RO/ARO.

The NDA partners contested a total of 243 seats, including one independent candidate supported by the alliance. ,

The parties contesting the Bihar elections are the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal (United) or JD(U), Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) or LJP (RV), Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), and the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM), which form the ruling NDA.

On the other hand, the Mahagathbandhan (MGB) includes Tejashwi Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), the Congress, Mukesh Sahni-led Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), the Communist Party of India, the Communist Party of India (Marxist), and the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation.

Tej Pratap Yadav's Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD), Pashupati Paras's Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP), and Asaduddin Owaisi-led All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) are also contesting the elections.
